Things to do

There are lots of activities to do and places to see in the Costa Del Sol. See below for a list of our favourites!

Selwo Aventura - Estepona

A truly memorable day out. Walk the attractions amongst the beautiful landscaped parkland, say hello to a family of goats, take a ride on the safari truck, feed the giraffes and ride on a camel.

With lots of interactive activities and a well equipped play area it really is a spectacular place to spend the day.

Check their website for prices and opening hours. During the summer months (July and August) they are open 10am - 8pm.

Funky Forest - Estepona

A relaxing oasis for children and parents. With lots of activities and workshops including art, cooking and flamenco for the kids, there is also a cafe for parents to enjoy a coffee and pastry in the peace and sunshine on the terrace.

For more details on the workshops and opening hours check their website.

Kidz Kingdom - Estepona

In Kidz Kingdom you will find a magical display of kids play equipment, where you can have hours of excitement, thrills and fun. From crazy slides and ball pools to music time for babies and toddlers, all ages are catered for.

A great option for a safe indoor area for the kids to burn up some energy.

For more information on prices and opening hours check out their website.

Butterfly Park - Benalmadena

With over 1500 different butterflies from around the world, this is a truly magical experience and the children will also learn about the lifestages of the butterfly! They also have a couple of surprises...a huge Iguana and a Wallaby.

Sotofiesta - Pueblo Nuevo

A fantastic party shop filled with everything you could possibly need for children's parties, including cupcake bakery and sweet carts! The store is also equipped to host ceramics and pottery workshops for children aged 4+ and can be hired for parties or individual sessions where no appointment is necessary.

Check out their Facebook page: Sotofiesta SL

Family Friendly Beaches

Del Cristo Beach - Estepona
Located on the western side of Estepona port near the H10 resort

Del Cristo Playa is perfect for familes due to the shallow cove and soft sand making it ideal for young children who are learning to swim and for those wanting to swim without waves or strong currents. The beach has 2 beach bars offering drinks, snacks and full lunch menus. You can also hire sunbeds. There are excellent public facilities with a children's play park and a purpose built change area with showers & toilets which are all very well maintained (but make sure to take your own toilet roll!). This beach can get very busy on weekends during the summer but is definitely worth a visit.
